Supercomp Front 8-Piston Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate in stopping power for your Audi 100 Quattro. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft quality billet aluminum and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers. Each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to their size, these SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment. This specific kit features cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles. Standard with the kit are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. For those seeking higher performance, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an option, recommended for extreme track conditions with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F.
