Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your MINI R53 Cooper. The kit features 356mm x 32mm rotors, providing substantial surface area for superior braking performance. At the heart of this system is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers. The caliper is equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the included stainless steel braided brake lines ensure a firm pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. The kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors are available in cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving for cooler operation) or slotted (recommended for track use) designs. Both rotor types offer increased bite and continuously clean and refresh the brake pad surface. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This SuperComp kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material. For those prioritizing track performance, an option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) is available, though these are not recommended for street use due to their higher operating temperature requirements. All Ksport big brake kits are made to order and include a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
