Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power for your MINI R53 Cooper. The kit includes extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft quality billet aluminum, featuring larger pistons and a differential bore configuration for enhanced performance. These calipers weigh just over 7lbs each and include protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The SuperComp system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. For more extreme track conditions, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available as an optional upgrade. The kit also includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for easy bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper location and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and quicker response. This product is made to order, and an estimated time of arrival will be provided after order submission. Buyers can choose from various caliper colors and select between Street Pads (standard) or optional Race Pads, which are not recommended for street use due to their higher operating temperature. Optional upgrades for the center bell and hardware are also available. All Ksport big brake kits include a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
