Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power and enhanced thermal management for your BMW 3-Series (E90/E91/E92). This kit integrates advanced brake technology to dramatically reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Weighing just over 7 lbs each, these calipers are exceptionally lightweight and incorporate protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The two-piece floating disc assembly is standard, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors reduces noise and efficiently expels gases and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily drivers and slotted rotors for track use. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which utilize NAOC ceramic material for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material, is available for extreme track use. The RC5 pads are not recommended for street use due to their higher optimal operating temperature range.
