The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your BMW E82 1-Series, enhancing performance by reducing brake fade and continually cooling the brake pads. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each. It includes high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, while the opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces rotating and unsprung weight, prevents thermal stress warping, and features a unique slot design to expel gas and pad debris faster. Cross-drilled rotors are included and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are available for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track conditions with reduced dust and noise. Optional RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and response. This specific kit is designed for the BMW 1 Series E82/E88 (2008-2013) models, including the 135i with N54 3.0L, 128i with N52 3.0L, and 135i with N55 3.0L engines. The SuperComp calipers require four brake pads per caliper due to their size. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
