Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit represents an ultimate upgrade in stopping power for your BMW E85/E86 Z4. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously refresh the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, boasting a lightweight design (just over 7 lbs each) and differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. Each kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping. The rotors have a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel gases and debris efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors are available and recommended for daily driven vehicles, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material for extreme track conditions, are also available. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal feel and response.
