Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your BMW E71 X6. This front brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper is a highlight of this kit, crafted from aircraft-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum for extreme lightness (just over 7 lbs each) and efficient heat dissipation. It boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, each front caliper utilizes four brake pads. This kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard SC5 Street Pads offer optimal performance for street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise. Optional RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions. Specific fitments for this kit include the BMW X Series X6 E71 (2008-2014) with xDrive35i (N54 3.0L, 08-10), xDrive50i (N63 4.4L), xDrive35i (N55 3.0L, 2011+), and the X6 M (E71, S63 4.4L).
