Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit (BKBM251-961CO) is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your BMW F31 3-Series Wagon. This advanced braking system integrates innovative technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cools the brake pads during demanding use. The kit features an extreme, lightweight SuperComp caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs. each. These calipers have a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp models and include machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design dramatically enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the included stainless-steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure, improving pedal feel and response. SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from warping the disc or causing surface cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled and slotted rotors: cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. This kit includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering reduced dust and noise. Alternatively, RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions. This kit is made to order, and an estimated time of arrival (ETA) will be provided upon order submission. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
