Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for your BMW E84 X1. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad surface temperature during strenuous use. At the core of this system are the SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing rigidity and pad wear. They are equipped with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The included D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines contribute to an improved pedal feel and quicker response. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also prevents thermal stresses from causing disc warping. The unique slot design on the rotors aids in expelling gas and pad debris, while cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, and slotted rotors are preferred for track applications. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for peak performance. Customers can choose between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made with NAOC ceramic for optimal street and occasional track use, or Ksport RC5 Race Pads, a carbon-metallic compound designed for extreme track conditions. The SC5 pads offer reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F – 1022°F. The RC5 pads require higher working temperatures (482°F – 1472°F) and are not recommended for street use. This product is made to order and non-refundable.
