Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate stopping power for your BMW F80 M3. This advanced braking system utilizes new technology to dramatically reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad surface temperature under demanding conditions. The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers boast larger pistons than ProComp models, offering enhanced performance and improved caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston design also contributes to better pad wear. The SuperComp systems include a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gases and pad debris more efficiently. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for more track-focused use. Stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal feel and response. This kit is configured with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. Alternatively, RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, though not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperatures.
