The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit (BKAU122-836CO) provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Audi MK2 TT RS. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is exceptionally lightweight (just over 7 lbs) and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines ensure consistent pedal feel by preventing expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads due to its size. This big brake kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses, preventing disc warping or cupping under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, and slotted rotors, recommended for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. These pads offer reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. Alternatively, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F and 1472°F.
