The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is a high-performance braking system engineered to significantly upgrade the stopping power of your BMW E39 5-Series. This kit includes 356mm x 32mm rotors and features a SuperComp caliper with an 8-piston differential bore configuration, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. The caliper design includes larger pistons than their ProComp series, and comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris efficiently. Cross-drilled rotors are included, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions, with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. An option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic, is also available for those seeking maximum performance on the track, though these are not recommended for street use. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines for improved pedal feel and quicker response. All Ksport big brake kits come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
