The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of stopping power for your Audi B5 S4. Engineered with advanced brake technology, this kit actively reduces brake fade and continuously refreshes the brake pad surface during braking for optimal performance. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7lbs each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes four brake pads per caliper due to its substantial size. The braking system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for superior performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust and rotor wear compared to race pads. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material for extreme track conditions with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F, are also available. Ksport offers a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
