The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Porsche 95B Macan S AWD. This advanced braking system integrates new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface during intense use. The SuperComp caliper is a highlight of this kit, featuring a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, each caliper is extremely lightweight (just over 7 lbs) and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on the caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, and the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads due to its substantial size. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also combats thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or surface cupping. Ksport's unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific configuration includes cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures compared to slotted rotors. Included are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F – 1022°F. These pads reduce brake dust by over 50% and minimize noise and rotor wear. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions with a higher optimal operating temperature (482°F – 1472°F) and are not recommended for street use.
