The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of their braking upgrade solutions, engineered to deliver exceptional stopping performance for 1998-2005 Lexus GS300, GS400, and GS430 models without requiring any vehicle modifications. This sophisticated, bolt-on system enhances the already robust Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons for superior heat management and consistent operation. Caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to seamlessly integrate the larger Ksport calipers with the OEM mounting locations. The featured floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer rotor section to shift slightly, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and promoting more even pad application for enhanced performance. Included are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic compound to provide optimal braking performance for street driving and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and decrease rotor wear, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines.
