The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your Mercedes Benz W220 S-Class. This advanced braking system integrates cutting-edge technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during intense braking. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. Featuring a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than standard calipers, it offers superior rigidity and improved pad wear. The caliper weighs just over 7 lbs each and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. Stainless-steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, enhancing pedal feel and response. The SuperComp system also features a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted designs; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are best suited for track use. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, constructed from NAOC ceramic material, providing optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use with reduced brake dust and noise. For dedicated track use, optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available, offering maximum stopping power at higher operating temperatures.
