Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pad surface. It features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper machined from aircraft quality billet with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than ProComp calipers.

The caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes 2-piece floating disc assemblies, which reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and prevent thermal stresses from warping the disc.

The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to their ProComp models. It weighs just over 7 lbs each and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on the caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently increases pad longevity and caliper rigidity over stock components. Complementing the calipers, the SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight, contributing to improved vehicle dynamics. The floating disc construction also effectively manages extreme heat, preventing thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or surface cupping. The rotors are equipped with a unique slot design that not only reduces braking noise but also efficiently expels gas and pad debris, surpassing conventional slot designs. Every rotor in this kit undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure peak performance. The cross-drilled rotor configuration is recommended for daily driven vehicles, as it tends to run cooler than slotted rotors. For vehicles experiencing more track use than daily driving, slotted rotors are the preferred choice.
