The opposed piston caliper design and D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines enhance pedal feel and response. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer reduced brake dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, with an average coefficient of friction between .46 and .53.
