The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your BMW E82 1-Series (2008-2013, 128i, 135i N54, 135i N55). This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during operation. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is extremely lightweight at just over 7 lbs and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while standard stainless steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response. Due to the caliper size, each caliper requires four brake pads. This kit includes 330mm x 32mm two-piece floating rotors. The floating design minimizes weight and prevents thermal stresses from causing warping or surface cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce noise and expel debris, and are available in cross-drilled (recommended for daily drivers) or slotted (recommended for track use) configurations. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced. Optional Ksport SC5 Street Pads (ceramic) or RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available, with the race pads not recommended for street use due to high operating temperatures.
