The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your BMW E30 3-Series. This extreme brake upgrade features a differential bore 8-piston caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7lbs each. The caliper design includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines minimize expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp caliper requires four brake pads. The kit incorporates a 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stress that can cause warping or cupping. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for street and occasional track conditions with an optimal operating temperature between 194°F – 1022°F, reducing brake dust and noise. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets specifically for the vehicle to ensure a direct bolt-on fitment to the OEM caliper location. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard for improved pedal feel and quicker response. This product is made to order and is non-refundable.
