The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your MINI F54 Clubman. This advanced braking system integrates new technology to drastically reduce brake fade and ensure consistent performance, even under extreme conditions. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing pad wear and caliper rigidity. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design and stainless-steel brake lines contribute to improved pedal feel and quicker response by minimizing expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, each requires four brake pads. This kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping. The rotors are available in either cross-drilled or slotted designs; cross-drilled is recommended for daily driving due to better cooling, while slotted is ideal for track use. Both rotor types feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently. The system comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, with an option to upgrade to RC5 Race Pads for dedicated track environments. This specific kit is for the MINI F54 Clubman models from 2016 onwards, including Base, JCW, and S submodels with 1.5L or 2.0L Turbo engines.
