SuperComp Front Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, designed as an extreme bolt-on upgrade for your vehicle. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs., and is machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers and includes machined-in protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard components comprise aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. The opposed piston design enhances overall performance and durability. Complementing the calipers, the kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or damage to the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily-driven vehicles.
