Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines ensure a firm pedal by preventing expansion under pressure. The two-piece floating disc assembly is crucial for reducing both rotating and unsprung weight, and it effectively dissipates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or surface cupping under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport provides options for both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler operation, and slotted rotors, preferred for track applications. Standard on this kit are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic, designed for optimal street and occasional track performance with temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F.
