The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is an extreme rear brake upgrade designed for the Mitsubishi Outlander 2007-2013, specifically the 2.4L model. This sophisticated bolt-on system provides a significant increase in stopping power without requiring modifications to the vehicle. It features larger calipers, 330mm slotted two-piece rotors, and enhanced brake pads over the Procomp kit, utilizing a standard full-floating rotor design for improved self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. They house aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to shift, improving self-centering within the caliper and enhancing performance through more even application. Included with the kit are Ksport's SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines replace the stock rubber lines, preventing expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. The kit features 330mm slotted, two-piece, floating rotors. Standard kit components include two forged monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors, one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and an owner's manual.
