Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate upgrade in stopping power for your BMW E30 M3. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper in the SuperComp series requires four brake pads. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F and not recommended for street use.
