The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver substantial improvements in stopping power for the BMW E36 M3. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads, ensuring consistent performance even under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, making it extremely lightweight while incorporating features like differential bore configuration, larger pistons than ProComp calipers, and machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Key components include a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. The kit comes standard with cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, or optional slotted rotors for more track-focused applications. Stainless steel braided brake lines are included to enhance pedal feel and provide quicker response. The kit is available with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use, or optional RC5 Race Pads for extreme track conditions. Caliper color options include Ksport Orange, Race Red, Caution Yellow, Jet Black, Bold Blue, and several premium finishes with additional charges. Center bell upgrades are also available.
