The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Mercedes-Benz W204 C-Class 4 Matic. This performance brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad temperature through continuous cooling and refreshing of the pad surface during braking. This kit features a 330mm diameter, 32mm thick rotor and a 4-piston caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. The caliper design includes larger pistons for enhanced performance compared to ProComp calipers, weighs just over 7lbs, and incorporates machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on the caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design boosts pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which lowers rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors come standard with a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and more efficiently expels gas and pad debris. While cross-drilled rotors tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track use. This specific kit is configured with slotted rotors and includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions with operating temperatures between 194°F – 1022°F.
