The KSport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is a premium braking upgrade engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the Volkswagen B7 Passat Late Model. At its core, the kit features a massive 330mm (13-inch) rotor with a 32mm thickness, paired with a robust 4-piston SuperComp caliper. This caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7 lbs, and boasts differential bore configuration for optimized performance. It comes standard with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response by preventing expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to their cooler operation, or slotted rotors, ideal for track applications. Both rotor types feature increased bite and continuously clean the pad surface. The SuperComp kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track use. This big brake kit is made to order and is considered non-refundable once the order is placed. It is compatible with various B7 Passat models from 2012-2019, including those with 2.5L, TDi, 3.6L VR6, 1.8T Gen 3, and 2.0T Gen 3 engines.
