The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your BMW E85 or E86 Z4. Engineered with a 330mm diameter and 32mm thick rotor, this kit is designed to dramatically reduce brake fade and enhance overall braking performance, especially under demanding conditions. Constructed with an aircraft-quality billet aluminum SuperComp caliper, this kit is extremely lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs each. The caliper features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers, along with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce weight and prevent thermal stresses from warping the rotor. The rotors are available in cross-drilled or slotted designs; cross-drilled are recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation, while slotted are better suited for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with an option to upgrade to RC5 Race Pads for extreme track conditions. Note that Race Pads are not recommended for street use due to their high working temperature. This kit is made to order and non-refundable. It is compatible with various BMW Z4 E85 models from 2003-2008, including the 2.5i, 3.0i, 3.0si, and Z4 M S54 3.2L submodels.
