The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your vehicle, specifically the BMW E92 M3. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad performance through continuous cooling and surface refreshing. The calipers are forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, featuring a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than standard ProComp calipers. They weigh just over 7 lbs each and include protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. The kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor helps minimize braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused use. The standard SC5 Street Pads are made from NAOC ceramic and are designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. Alternatively, RC5 Race Pads are available for extreme track conditions.
