The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a substantial upgrade in stopping performance for your Mercedes Benz W211 E55 AMG or E63 AMG. Engineered for high-performance applications, this kit features a 330mm rotor diameter with a 32mm width, designed to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during demanding use. The SuperComp caliper itself is a testament to Ksport's engineering, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons compared to their ProComp calipers, delivering greater clamping force. Each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and includes features like machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and expel gas and pad debris more efficiently. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. For those who see more track time, slotted rotors are suggested. Standard with the kit are Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, designed for optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F. These pads offer reduced brake dust and noise compared to race pads. An option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads, constructed from carbon metallic material for extreme track conditions (optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F), is also available, though not recommended for street use. The kit includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to OEM caliper locations.
