Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver substantial upgrades in stopping power for BMW F3X 3-Series Sedans. This kit integrates advanced brake technology aimed at significantly reducing brake fade and ensuring consistent cooling and refreshing of the brake pads during heavy use. The SuperComp caliper itself is a lightweight, forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum component with a differential bore configuration. It features larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs. each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless-steel braided brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are included per caliper. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which lowers both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. For street-driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic NAOC pads offering optimal performance and reduced dust for street and occasional track use. An option to upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, designed for extreme track conditions, is also available. This product is made to order.
