Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit 356mm 4-Piston Caliper

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate in stopping power for your Volkswagen MK5 Jetta. This kit features a 356mm diameter by 32mm thick 2-piece floating disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight while resisting thermal stress and warping. The SuperComp caliper is constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7lbs and incorporating protection grooves. It boasts larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, a differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel braided brake lines provide improved pedal feel and quicker response. This rear kit includes 4 brake pads per caliper. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance under street and occasional track conditions with an optimal operating temperature between 194°F and 1022°F. Optionally, RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material for extreme track conditions (482°F – 1472°F operating temperature), are available. Rotors can be either cross-drilled, recommended for daily driven vehicles to run cooler, or slotted, recommended for track use. The kit comes with CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct OEM location fitment and a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
