Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your BMW F31 3-Series M-Sport Wagon. At the heart of this kit are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, weighing just over 7 lbs each. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. The SuperComp series calipers require four brake pads per caliper due to their substantial size. The kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses to prevent disc warping and surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler. The standard Ksport SC5 Street Pads are made from NAOC ceramic material, optimized for street and occasional track use with operating temperatures between 194°F and 1022°F. Customization options are available, including a wide range of caliper colors, rotor styles (cross-drilled or slotted), and an option for Ksport RC5 Race Pads for dedicated track use. Additional upgrades include Titanium Center Bell and Hardware, or Twin Color Anodized Center Bells. All Ksport Big Brake Kits are made-to-order and come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects.
