The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the Ferrari F430. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually refresh the brake pad surface during operation. This big brake kit features a 380mm x 32mm rotor size and an aftermarket handbrake. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7lbs each. It includes larger pistons than ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper. The 2-piece floating disc assembly reduces both rotating and unsprung weight and mitigates thermal stress from extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driving, offering cooler operation than slotted rotors. Slotted rotors are suggested for more track-focused use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic pads designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions (194°F – 1022°F). These pads reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads and offer reduced noise and rotor wear. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions (482°F – 1472°F) but are not recommended for street use.
