The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an ultimate rear braking solution for the Chevrolet Corvette (2005-2013). The calipers are forged from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance, while aluminum pistons enhance heat tolerance. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for cooler operation in daily driving, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing expansion under pressure.
