Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit, 400x36mm Drilled Rotors, Orange Calipers

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for the BMW E39 5-Series. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines improve pedal feel and response. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, and prevent thermal stress warping. The rotors are cross-drilled, which tends to run cooler and is recommended for daily driven vehicles. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic and designed for optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F, reducing brake dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional race pads (carbon metallic) are available but not recommended for street use. It is important to note that this product is made to order and is non-refundable.
