The Ksport Supercomp Mazda 323 Rear Big Brake System represents an extreme brake upgrade engineered to deliver the highest level of stopping power without the need for vehicle modifications. This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kits by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free construction. The calipers feature aluminum pistons, which provide enhanced heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. An opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear across both sides of the rotor. Standard components include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The Supercomp Big Brake systems utilize lightweight, two-piece rotors available in either Cross Drilled or Slotted configurations. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while Slotted rotors are better suited for track use, featuring grooves to help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The two-piece design significantly reduces rotational mass, contributing to quicker brake response. These kits also include DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. The standard included SC5 Street Brake Pads offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit includes forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, lightweight two-piece rotors, SC5 street brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware.
