The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an extreme rear brake upgrade for the Porsche 997, designed to deliver the highest level of stopping power. This sophisticated kit is a direct bolt-on, requiring no vehicle modifications for installation. It builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kit by featuring larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons. The full-floating rotor design enhances self-centering within the caliper. Constructed for durability and performance, all calipers are made from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet strong and corrosion-free component. The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons to improve heat resistance and maintain uncompromised operation. Key features include a lightweight forged one-piece caliper, a floating two-piece rotor design, carbon steel caliper brackets, and SC1 street pads. The kit comes with stainless steel brake lines and offers slotted or cross-drilled rotor options. Specific product notes indicate rear position, 4-piston calipers, orange caliper color, 356mm (14-inch) diameter rotors with a 32mm width, and a slotted rotor style with a floating type.
