The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Porsche 964 911 C2. This advanced braking system integrates new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surfaces during intense use. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, providing significantly increased clamping force. Weighing just over 7 lbs each, these calipers include machined protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent pedal feel. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or surface cupping under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit includes 356x32mm rotors, and customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors (recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation) or slotted rotors (recommended for track use). Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads offering optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions. These pads operate efficiently between 194°F – 1022°F, warm up quickly, reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, and minimize noise and rotor wear. As an option, RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, though they are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperature range (482°F – 1472°F).
