The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your 2009-2013 Toyota Prius. At the core of this kit are lightweight, forged one-piece calipers crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. These calipers house multiple pistons and are paired with large, 400mm drilled two-piece rotors. The floating rotor design allows for slight adjustments, promoting better self-centering within the caliper, reducing drag, and ensuring more even brake application. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Further enhancing performance and feel, the kit features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. The calipers themselves are available in various standard colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with options for premium high-polish finishes and custom color matching. While this kit is designed for a direct fit on select 2009-2013 Toyota Prius models (including Base, C, Plug-In, and V trims), it is crucial to verify fitment for your specific vehicle.
