Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to deliver ultimate stopping power for your Volkswagen MK5 Jetta. It features a lightweight, forged aircraft-quality billet aluminum SuperComp caliper with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and caliper rigidity. This kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, suited for more aggressive track use. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are NAOC ceramic pads designed for optimal performance on the street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic material, are available for extreme track conditions but are not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperatures (482°F – 1472°F). D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, improving pedal feel and response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Ksport Big Brake Kits are made-to-order and are non-refundable once the order is placed. They come with a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects. This kit is compatible with VW MK5 Jetta models from 2006-2010, including 2.5L, TDi, 2.0T TSI (08.5+), and GLI 2.0T FSI (06-08) / TSI (08.5+) submodels.
