The Ksport Supercomp Infiniti Q70 Rear Big Brake System is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade, delivering the highest level of stopping power while maintaining a simple bolt-on installation with no vehicle modifications needed. This sophisticated system builds upon the benefits of Ksport's Procomp kits, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece caliper design ensures lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers feature aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance and uncompromised operation, aided by an opposed-piston design for consistent pad wear. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The two-piece design reduces warping due to heat and the aluminum center bell acts as a heat sink, extending rotor service life. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driving. The standard kit includes (2) forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, (2) lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), (1) set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included to prevent line expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
