The Ksport Supercomp Lexus SC400 13" Rear Big Brake System represents an extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver superior stopping power without necessitating any vehicle modifications. This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for enhanced self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant construction. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management and consistent operation, along with an opposed-piston design that promotes even brake pad wear. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates are standard. The center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, lower rotational mass and contribute to immediate brake response. This design also minimizes rotor warping due to heat expansion and acts as a heat sink, extending rotor service life. For vehicles with more track use, slotted rotors are recommended to help dissipate heat and gas buildup. Included in the standard kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. The system is compatible with 17-inch wheels and larger.
