Supercomp Rear Big Brake System

The Ksport Supercomp Mazda 6 Rear Big Brake System is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade, providing unparalleled stopping power with a direct bolt-on installation that requires no vehicle modifications. This system is designed for the 2002-2008 Mazda 6 and is appropriate for 18-inch wheels and larger. The kit features a lightweight forged one-piece caliper, constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum for superior strength and corrosion resistance. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons with high-temperature seals to ensure consistent operation and prevent drag. The opposed-piston design promotes even brake pad wear. Standard inclusions for this rear system are 4-piston calipers. Included are lightweight two-piece rotors, available in drilled or slotted options. Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are advised for more frequent track use. The two-piece design allows for independent expansion and contraction of the rotor and center section, reducing warping potential. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced. The system also includes D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which enhance pedal feel and response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. The standard kit comes with NAOC Ceramic SC5 street pads, offering reduced dust and noise with optimal performance between 194°F and 1022°F. Optional upgrades are available, including RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions (optimal temperatures 482°F-1472°F), custom caliper colors, and upgraded center bell options (Titanium or Twin Color Anodized). All Ksport Big Brake Kits come with a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturer defects. Production and delivery typically take 4-6 weeks as these kits are built to order.
