Supercomp Super 8 Pot Front Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers an extreme brake upgrade for your Ford Escape 2008-2014. The Supercomp caliper is Ksport's most extreme option, featuring a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. Machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. For enhanced performance and reduced unsprung weight, the kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which also mitigates thermal stresses that can warp the rotor or cup the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers a choice between cross-drilled rotors, which tend to run cooler and are recommended for daily driven vehicles, and slotted rotors, recommended for track use. For brake pad selection, SC5 Street pads offer a long-lasting, low-dust ceramic compound for street use, while RC1 Race Pads provide maximum stopping power under extreme track conditions. The kit includes calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and all related hardware. Specific rotor sizes and designs, brake pad choices, caliper colors (Orange, Red, Yellow, Black, or custom options), and caliper types (Super 8 Pot) are available. The caliper brackets are reinforced carbon steel, allowing the larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto existing mounting points. The kit comes with a 12-month manufacturer warranty covering defects.
