The Heath Diesel Supercool Water Pump Upgrade Kit provides a comprehensive solution to the persistent overheating problems experienced by 1992-2000 GM Duramax 6.5L Turbo Diesel vehicles. Standard factory cooling systems are often insufficient, especially when towing or under heavy load, leading to engine temperatures exceeding safe limits. This kit is engineered to maintain engine temperatures below 210°F under all operating conditions, even extreme ones like towing 20,000 lbs uphill on a hot day with the air conditioning on. This unique upgrade features proprietary modifications to the water pump and an HD fan clutch, developed specifically by Heath Diesel. These components are significantly superior to standard factory parts, including the HO Water Pump found on later dual-thermostat models. The kit includes a cast iron water pump with a coolant filter, an HD fan clutch, a 21-inch 9-blade fan, a proper thermostat, a radiator cap, and all necessary gaskets for installation. It is important to note that this kit is specifically designed for 1992-2000 GM Duramax 6.5L Diesel vehicles and will NOT work on the HUMMER H1.
