The Boyesen Supercooler Kit (WPK-26M) is a performance water pump and impeller upgrade, constructed from magnesium for the 450cc Suzuki RM-Z 450 (2005-2007). Engineered with Boyesen's Hyper-Flow Integration (HFI) process, this kit enhances coolant flow efficiency and temperature management. It addresses stock water pump limitations by featuring a larger "Max Inlet" opening, which is superior to the restrictive, 90-degree bends often found in OEM designs. The "Pro-Flow" impeller is hydrodynamically optimized to increase overall coolant flow rates while virtually eliminating cavitation, ensuring that the engine receives efficient cooling without parasitic loss. Excessive engine heat can lead to significant damage to critical engine components like the cylinder, piston, and valve train. By improving the cooling system's capacity, the Supercooler Kit helps mitigate thermal stresses, prevent pre-ignition and detonation, and reduce the risk of distorted cylinder bores and damaged parts. For EFI-equipped engines, maintaining optimal temperatures is crucial, as the ECU uses coolant temperature data to adjust ignition timing and air/fuel mixture; excessive heat can cause the ECU to retard timing and richen the mixture, reducing horsepower. This kit is specifically designed for the 2005-2007 Suzuki RM-Z 450. It replaces the stock water pump cover and impeller with a more efficient design that promotes better fluid dynamics and heat dissipation.
