The 034Motorsport SüperDüper Turbo Inlet Upgrade Kits are performance enhancements designed for the EA839 2.9T powered Audi RS4/RS5, specifically intended to be utilized with existing X34 or P34 Intake Systems. These kits are crucial for optimizing power by removing a significant flow restriction within the intake tract, especially when running stock turbochargers or Stage 3 Hybrid Turbocharger options. The SüperDüper Turbo Inlet Pipe is engineered to maximize performance, particularly when paired with Dynamic+ Stage 3 Hybrid Turbo Tuning Software. Utilizing advanced CFD modeling and real-world testing, the SüperDüper Turbo Inlet Upgrade sets a benchmark for EA839 2.9TT aftermarket intake systems, providing restrictionless flow for both stock and hybrid turbochargers. This upgrade unlocks increased airflow potential, contributing to power gains when using Dynamic+ Tuning, and enhances sporty induction and turbocharger sounds. The kit includes CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum compressor inlet flange adapters for smooth airflow into the compressor housings and turbo inlet adapters to match the turbo inlet for maximum airflow. Optional adapter flanges are available, and the kit retains OE PCV hose connections. The installation effort is rated as mild, featuring a direct bolt-on design with easily accessible hose clamps. The factory intake system, with its restrictive paper filter and small airbox connected to an insufficiently sized turbo inlet, causes turbulence and limits airflow. The stock turbo inlet's peak internal diameter of 66mm is quickly reduced, leading to inadequate airflow and lower velocity. This design, likely for cost-saving, forces the ECU to compensate, increasing Wastegate Duty Cycle and putting more demand on the turbochargers, resulting in higher compressor and exhaust turbine temperatures. This inefficiency reduces power output and generates increased heat. 034Motorsport's X34 and P34 Intake Systems, when combined with the SüperDüper Turbo Inlet Pipe, demonstrate substantial flow increases. The stock intake and turbo inlet assembly measures 526 CFM, while the P34 + SüperDüper Inlet with the stock turbo adapter flange achieves 779 CFM (a 48% increase), and the X34 + SüperDüper Inlet achieves 783 CFM (a 49% increase). With the TTE720 adapter flange, these figures rise to 905 CFM (72% increase) for the P34 system and 908 CFM (73% increase) for the X34 system. This combined system is capable of supporting over 1000hp of restrictionless flow. The product is sold for racing use and for vehicles not registered for highway use, making it not legal for street use.
