Show original supplier description
The Wilwood BK9P is a Superlite 4-pot caliper conversion kit specifically designed for the Astra H (MK5) model. This kit allows for an upgrade to a more robust braking system, featuring Wilwood's Superlite 4-pot calipers. The lug-mount design ensures a secure fit, and the kit comes complete with two calipers, two caliper mounting brackets, and a comprehensive hardware kit including all necessary bolts, washers, nuts, and caliper adaptors for installation. This conversion kit is engineered to accommodate 17-inch wheels, providing a performance upgrade without necessitating the purchase of new wheels for many applications. It is important to note that this brake kit does not include brake pads or hoses; these components must be ordered separately to complete the braking system. The kit also does not include brake discs, which are also available for separate purchase. Wilwood is renowned for its high-performance braking solutions, and the Superlite calipers are a testament to their engineering. This kit offers a significant upgrade over stock brakes, improving stopping power and heat management, which is crucial for spirited driving or track use. The direct-fit design for the Astra H (MK5) aims to simplify the installation process, though professional installation is always recommended for critical braking system components.
